Pen and Ink Drawings

This is a pen and ink drawing I did in high school. I couldn't photograph it
head on due to the glare from the camera flash.

Kelli Thomas

Artist Bio

2017

Green River, Wyoming

Born and raised in Oklahoma, Kelli Thomas was always artistic. Drawing and creating from an early age, she spent hours in her own creative world. Enrolling in a junior high art class in 1978 and continuing art classes through high school gave Kelli a foundation of art skills that she continues to use today.

Teaching elementary education was the primary career for Kelli for seventeen years. However, the creative expression has continued. Kelli paints, draws, creates unique mixed media pieces, and repurposes discarded items, breathing new life into them. Her other passions include photography and writing. After a brief stint as a tour guide at Alabaster Caverns in the summer of 2013, Kelli realized a need for a children’s book about the caverns. So, she wrote one. It is to be published in 2014 by the Oklahoma Department of Tourism and will be available at Alabaster Caverns.
