Hounddog

This is my step-dad's dog. He calls him "Hounddog" and he loves him like any boy loves his dog. So I painted this for Jim's 70th birthday.

This is my latest piece. It is a 12" x 12" mixed media piece with old metal and old barbed wire. The left side is cardboard with metal accents. In the center of the heart is a piece of turquoise. $50.00 - SOLD!

Spirit Horse

This horse was done in acrylic, pastels, and charcoal. The background was created with a wash of acrylic thinned with coffee. Then I drew the horse with charcoal, painted a bit more with the thinned paint using a rag. Next I added details with pastels and little bit more charcoal.

Judy's Panels

A friend of mine in Mooreland, Oklahoma has a shed in her back yard with barn type doors. She asked me to paint these for her to hang on the doors. They are sort of whimsical, but she loved them. The panels are 32" x 32" and done in acrylic.

She wanted a brown and white cow chewing hay with a sunflower tucked behind his ear.

For the second panel she wanted sunflowers.

I found this old medicine cabinet in an abandoned house. It was missing the door. I repainted it in a rustic turquoise with red highlights. It has a cross detail on both sides. The shelves are glass that I painted a dark brown. $40.00 - SOLD!
